We're seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to champion our Water Works portfolio and expand our presence in the municipal water industry in the Texas Region. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, educator, and business development leader, helping customers understand the value and performance of our solutions while driving market growth throughout your assigned region.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with engineering firms, municipalities, water utilities, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Promote the benefits and performance of Water Works portfolio through education, demonstrations, and consultative selling.
- Obtain product approvals by researching municipal standards and requirements and managing the submission of necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with contractors and installers to identify project opportunities, generate referrals, and collect customer success stories and testimonials.
- Create and deliver technical training programs, educational resources, and continuing education opportunities for industry professionals.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events through product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.
- Partner with distributors, wholesalers, and suppliers serving the municipal water market to strengthen market penetration and product availability.
- Explore digital and e-commerce opportunities to expand market reach, especially in remote areas and underserved regions.
- Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, regulations, and municipal water utility requirement

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or business development experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with business and technology tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience within the municipal water utility industry.
- Knowledge of water infrastructure products, fittings, valves, or related systems.
- Familiarity with municipal approval processes and engineering specifications.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel throughout assigned territories, including areas with varying weather conditions ranging from extreme heat and humidity to cold temperatures.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds over distances of approximately 50 feet.
- Regular interaction with customers both in person and by phone.
- Standard 40-hour workweek, with flexibility to attend events, training sessions, and customer meetings as needed.
