- Coach Team Lead
Description
The Coach Team Lead provides hands-on assistance to units of local government that are struggling and are at risk of failing financially. This remote position is intended to work regionally with units in the southeastern part of the state. Day travel to units within the assigned region, and occasionally outside the region will be required.
Because of the lagging economic recovery in the more rural parts of the State in particular, there are local government entities that are struggling to maintain their fiscal health and who do not have the human capital to address this issue. The Fiscal Management staff is tasked with providing financial management assistance to those units. This position will provide intense and focused guidance and assistance to finance officers, managers, administrators, and governing boards as needed, both onsite and virtually. Requirements
The minimum Education and Experience is a bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a degree in business administration, finance or public administration or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution with 18 semester hours of accounting coursework; and five years of professional accounting/auditing experience in the preparation of interpretive or analytical accounting/ financial statements and reports or equivalent combination of education and experience.
