Description
Do you love making an impact with your work? Join the Community Foundation and play a vital role where finance meets philanthropy. In this dynamic position, you’ll help move money that matters — processing grants and scholarships, supporting fundraising campaigns, and keeping the data that drives donor relationships accurate and insightful. If you’re organized, sharp with numbers, and energized by mission-driven work, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do: Finance
- Process grant and scholarship payments and craft award letters that deliver great news to recipients.
- Help protect the Foundation’s assets using online banking tools, positive pay file management, and cash flow tracking.
- Review and post donations and support ACH payments to grantees and vendors.
- Pitch in on day-to-day admin tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
What You’ll Do: Development
- Be the steward of our donor data — maintaining Foundant/CSuite records, entering gifts, and sending timely acknowledgements that make donors feel valued.
- Turn data into strategy by generating gift reports, donor recognition lists, pledge reports, and targeted mailing lists.
- Support exciting campaigns, prospect research, and donor acquisition initiatives.
- Assist the team in bringing fundraising and cultivation events to life.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an Associate’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) plus experience with accounting or development software.
- A knack for juggling multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or professionalism.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, people-first attitude.
- Genuine enthusiasm for serving donors, grantees, and scholarship recipients.
Employment benefits at the Community Foundation include:
- 10% employer contribution to a 403(b) plan
- 24 days of PTO and 12 paid holidays
- Individual medical, dental, and vision – 90% employer-paid
- Employer-paid Short and Long-term Disability and Life Insurance
Salary: $55,000
