Strength & Conditioning Coach Opportunity
About Combine Training
Combine Training is more than a gym.
We’re building a team of coaches dedicated to becoming leaders in the strength and conditioning profession. For more than 20 years, we’ve built a reputation as one of Connecticut’s premier human performance facilities, helping thousands of athletes and adults become stronger, healthier, and more confident through individualized coaching built on assessment, biomechanics, and long-term development.
Every day, we challenge ourselves to learn more, coach better, and serve our clients at the highest level because we believe every session is an opportunity to teach, inspire, and make a lasting impact on someone’s life.
We’re looking for coaches who are passionate about developing athletes, helping adults live stronger and healthier lives, and pursuing excellence in their profession. If you’re eager to learn, embrace new challenges, and grow alongside a team committed to raising the standard of coaching every day, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Combine Training?
Our assessment-driven training system combines biomechanics, movement quality, performance testing, and real-world coaching experience to deliver individualized programs that create lasting results. Just as importantly, we build lasting relationships with every client and family we serve.
As a coach at Combine, you’ll learn and apply a structured coaching system that connects assessment, programming, progressions, and client communication. You’ll develop the skills to evaluate movement, build individualized programs, and confidently coach clients through every stage of their development.
You’ll work alongside experienced coaches who challenge one another, share ideas openly, and continually raise the standard of coaching. We believe the best coaches never stop learning, which is why we invest heavily in continuing education, and professional development.
No two days at Combine look exactly the same. You might begin your morning leading an adult strength class, spend the afternoon coaching private sessions with youth and collegiate athletes, and finish the evening running a youth athletic development class. This variety keeps coaching exciting while exposing you to multiple coaching environments that accelerate your professional growth.
Our goal isn’t simply to hire great coaches—it’s to develop them.
