Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ER position requiring Epic charting experience, with certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS in hand at time of consideration.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- 2 weekend shifts required per contract
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active KS or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years will be required for consideration
