Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Therapy/Dietary, Physical Therapy professional to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients with a focus on orthopedic and geriatric care.
- Collaborate with two other therapists to manage a daily census of approximately 25 patients.
- Conduct 8-12 patient visits per day, ensuring individualized treatment plans are met.
- Participate in an emergency team as required and remain at the facility during events such as natural disasters.
- Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations during your assignment.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical assessments.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification and LA State License required.
- Specialization in orthopedic and geriatric physical therapy preferred.
- Open to first-time travelers and candidates with less than 2 years of experience, excluding new graduates.
- Ability to secure necessary certifications for this role, including emergency preparedness.
- Must have a compact or LA license upon submission if applicable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
