Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients of varying ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication devices effectively.
- Perform modified barium swallow studies and interpret results.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and rehabilitation processes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Qualifications
- Current CCC-SLP certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with at least 1 year in a hospital setting.
- Experience in acute care environments.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Preferred experience in a teaching hospital and pediatric settings.
